Jessica Lopez
Acting Principal & Assistant Principal
Jessica is currently serving as the acting principal of SMdP, while carrying on her duties of assistant principal. Jessica taught 2nd grade at SMdP for 9 years before moving into her current role as assistant principal. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Temple University. Jess is furthering her education through the Remick Leadership Program, a Masters program for Catholic school leaders at the University of Notre Dame. Having benefited from a Catholic school education herself, Jess is dedicated to building loving partnerships with families and providing positive educational experiences to the students of St. Martin de Porres.
Aaron Walker
Dean of Students and Director of Operations
Aaron is in his sixth year with Independence Mission Schools. Born in Wilmington, DE, he graduated from Wilmington University and earned his Master’s degree at Anderson University, a Christian-based school in Indiana. Raised in an urban setting, Aaron was blessed to overcome many obstacles in his life. Therefore, he works hard to give back to his community and provide opportunities for young scholars to persevere and achieve success. Aaron is pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Saint Joseph’s University. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling with family.
